THE TAIL OF AGILE OWL
Once upon a time (well, not too long ago), a young Owl named Myska spread her artistic legal wings in South Africa. By day, she was a sharp-eyed attorney (even dabbling in the uncharted skies of drone law), and by night, she tinkered away at game design and illustrating. Her feathers ruffled happily in both worlds of law and games.

She journeyed through many roles as a compliance wizard for a logistics firm, junior programmer at 24BitGames (where she lent her magic to quirky titles like TABS and GORN), freelance illustrator of children books endorsed by BirdLife, and eventually a multi-class hero: Producer / Scrum Master / QA Mage at Talent Digital Arts.

But the winds shifted. With her trusty sidekick, a chihuahua named Narnia, and her husband Skippy by her side, Myska embarked on a backpacking adventure across Europe - sailing, wandering, and eventually nesting for a time in the misty coastlands of Scotland. There, she began shaping her own game studio dream.
​
Just as her wings spread wider, she was headhunted back into the legal skies as Global General Counsel for a logistics company. Yet, the call of the creative forest was too strong. As she fluttered through industry events in Oxford, Northampton, London, and Leamington-Spa, she gave talks to indie developers and discovered a deep truth: Indies were brimming with creativity but often lost in the dark forest of contracts, IP, and business structure.
Affordable guidance was scarce. The gap between brilliant ideas and sustainable studios was wide. And so, Agile Owl was born.
A quirky, wise, and slightly mischievous parliament of Owls dedicated to helping indies, startups, and creatives build strong nests, protect their shiny treasures (IP), and soar higher than ever before.
